M.O.V.E.
I recently learned about a very inspirational idea from author Hal Elrod, and his formula for success with the right start in the morning. Upon reflection, I recognized I already do much of what he recommends, except for reading and writing, which I don’t have the luxury to include then. However, I have developed my own acronym that does reflect my morning routine (outside of my strange caffeine concoction):
Meditation: Quiet thinking and prayer for those I care about
Open-Mindedness: Widening my acceptance to consider, adapt and evolve
Visualization: Thinking of and evaluating tangible ideas and goals
Exercise: Even 30 minutes of physicality makes me feel primed and ready
Move. It also stands for my stoic attitude toward life in general.
