When we feel pressure to get things done, it feels great to check things off the “to do” list, even if we follow the “80/20” rule to get there. But if we can’t reflect pride in what we’ve done other than meet the deadline, has it been worth the effort? While we should never labor endlessly over “the final touches”, the rigor of perfection will always yield more fruitful rewards.
