Thin-slicing

As things change around us moment to moment, it has also changed the way we observe, and communicate. We are more perceptive of small things - taking stock of things we see that make us happy or sad. In our frequent video calls, we are more intimate with our fellow participants as we are forced to look at each other face to face. This most certainly impacts a conversation - compelling new honesty, and I also find brevity - we communicate and satisfy our need for connection more quickly, with less need for the windup and wind down.
